Stumbled across the 'Overnight Sensations' speaker kit a while a go. And they seemed to be quite well reviewed, for their price, and the size speaker they were.
So trying to find a kit, or the parts to build, but being in the UK, it might be a bit too costly to do.

Does anyone know of any other 'diy' speakers?
I enjoyed building the objective2 Headphone amp, and would love to assemble and make the cabinets for a speaker.

Anyone done anything similar?

I heard a couple of these in the US but have never built one myself. For the money, they are pretty great, better than say the Audioengine range. They have a surprising amount of bass for such a small driver (don't go expecting all that much extension though, it's only a 4") and the overall sound is fairly 'lively' for lack of a better term.

As for other good DIY kits, there are plenty of options out there:

I'm personally looking at building a set of LXminis from Linkwitz labs sometime this year.

Thanks, I'll have a look tonight.

The sensations really appealed to me since they were very cheap, and wouldn't have minded if I accidentally messed up somehow.
