"Dizzy and The Other Side" released! - [ retro platformer ]

Brilliant , love the sound effects like the fire , Water. Music is spot on and the graphics are just perfect! :cool:

I tried to play this last night (the power of boredom). It reminded me why I don't still use my old spectrum :p

Still, looks like good fun if you're in a retro mood.
 
they should remake dizzy for the new consoles, it would be awesome! i loved the one where you started in the castle and had to give a loaf of bread to a rat, or it ate you! and quickly put a noose round the crocs mouth, while it was closed to get across the water :D
 
What's framerate like for you guys using SLi 9800 GX2's I'm only getting 3 Gezillion FPS and it drops out t0 2.999 Gezillion in the under water scenes, seems like badly coded shaders to me :p

On a more serious note; Nice find I'll be playing this at work (shhhh, don't tell anyone \o/)

That would be Fantasy Land Dizzy matey. A classic :) Despite owning (and I mean that in the "material possession" way) every Dizzy game released for the Speccy, I am ashamed to admit that I still haven't completed Dizzy and Treasure Island Dizzy (Dizzy 1 and Dizzy 2).

One day....!
