DJing with a Macbook Pro

Whats the best way of protecting a Macbook Pro (17") While DJing at a Pub/Bar/Club?

What about keyboard protection? as it will be open? More Worried about liquid damage rather than knocks. i have a sleeve & Bag for it already.

I would never use it in a pub, only in a club where the dj booth is a safe distance away from the drunk/high party goers

I don't think many do protect it in all honesty, Richie Hawtin and Co seem to use it as is.

So a tallish stand (30cm?) would be fine?

I used an InCase hard-shell case, a thin silicone keyboard protector (can't remember the brand) and a Quik-lok laptop stand. The keyboard protector saved it from a spilt beer twice.

You could consider something like a flight case that would set you back about £70.
