Anyone here spin vinyl, either dnb, hiphop beats?

Anyone skratch? if so which recs u got

Been to the DMC ever?

ya, i use 1210's but i can't scratch very well... I need more practice.

I going thru a phase of mixing new breaks, and maybe a bit of d'n'b if the mood suits me.

I've never been to the DMC but i've seen DJ Yoda a few times... very impressive. :)

As for q-bert>all.. Certainly not IMO. He's a profound cat, but he is fairly generic. I prefere funky djs (Mr.Thing, Tang, Funk Freaker to name a few djs rooted in the dmcs)..
 
nice one peeps, anyone able to upload some of their skratchin? I've just cracked 2 click flares, but they need a lot of work lol

I'll try and upload my 2 click flares. Really not as good as they should be lol.
 
can u do crabs? they are a mission lol do ya know if its still a crab if u use 3 fingers and not all 4 on the fader.

also, do u use left hand on deck and right on fader, or visa versa

Left hand on deck right hand on fader for flares and crabs but I can do most other things both ways (not brilliantly though). As for crabs 3 clicks is definately still a crab. I mainly use 3 too, just because the 4th lingers sometimes.
