dl-524 router /// server or bnc

first of all this is hardwear and belogs in general hw forum if you want to argue this please dont as you will just loose nd i wont get my question answered

i have a dl-524 router and i was wondering if could i run a web server from the actual router. I have seen this done somewere before but i have forgot were.
(no pc required just from modding routers firmware i think)

also if this is possible can i run a bnc from it to keep my irc connection alive


if anyone noes anything about this please tell me .

From this router it would be VERY complicated if its at all possible (im talking making your own firmware from the ground up).. sorry bud. all i can suggest is putting together a little itx system to do the job instead, or even something a bit bigger
