DL18-50 anytime now or wait for RX100 mk5

Have the original RX100 but it's recently started being very temperamental (buttons only working intermittently, like zoom, menu etc).

Initially I thought wait for the RX100 mk5 no brainer but in googling for it I then found information about the Nikon DL18-50. There was lots of reviews for it back in February and hands on videos.

When I next tried to buy it everywhere was pre-order and the only eta i could find was a Google images screenshot from Amazon stating release date of 30th June.

Does anyone know anything more about these cameras and their release dates?

I think I've heard November as a release date. It was originally meant to be June but got pushed back due to an earthquake halting production.

Ahh okay so I'm guessing both cameras will be released about the same time then. At least I'll be in a position to compare them both I guess.

I bought a MK4 whilst waiting for the Nikon, then of course the Nikon was delayed.

I'm not overly happy with the Sony. I took as my sole camera on a recent tour, and although I'm an A7 user so familiar with the setup, I found the RX100 just a bit too fiddly. Not being able to set the zoom level was the biggest pain for me.
