DLC and Games for windows live

i have gotham city imposters with the double xp dlc, when i purchased the double xp steam gave me a serial code to put in GFWL it downloaded fine and installed but its making no difference. is there anything else i have to do to get it working?

So the game installed and you typed the code into GFWL in the redeem codes but its not working. id imagine it should be working? or did u just install the game off steam

There are 2 ways one is with the url: look at the steam sale page, its in orange letters. Having used gfwl before I know which one I'd choose to use.
