Dlink 504 ADSL Router (Not 504-t)

Has anybody used this router with adslmax? does it work ok, i bought it off the forums but thought it was the 504t model.
 
well the 504t i owned for a year was brilliant until it crashed halfway through a firmware upgrade totalling the router.

Apart from that had no problems with it

just want to hears peoples experience with the 504 on adsl max
 
I recently moved to Max and was using your modem/router, it sync'd high but kept dropping out all the time.... Had to give up with it in the end. The SNR values I was getting were fine, but it could not hold the connection! You may be ok if you live near to the exchange...In my case I had to get a Speetouch 585 and have had no problems since!! Hope that helps

Will probably end up selling it on and buying something better for the job...OOoops, my bad for not asking questions before i buy things
 
i have previously owned a dlink back in the days of 1mbit connections being amazing...and it couldnt even handle that. would frequently just crash resulting in me having to turn it on and off at the plug, i then bought a speedtouch 510 v4 and it has been amazing, dont think its ever crashed on me and with recent firmware releases offers some excelent features such as QOS etc
