Ok so everything is working fine with my 50mbit connection via modem into this router.

However, I have noticed that I am having to unplug/replug the router fairly often because sometimes some of our laptops in the house dont connect (yellow exclamation mark next to the wireless icon).

The ethernet connection works fine, but its just the wireless that plays up once or twice a day.

This did not happen with my previous router (a netgear one).

Any advice or comments would be grateful. TIA :)

Hehe. I have googled this issue and it seems I may not be the only one.
Tempted to slap my WGR614 back in again and take this D-Link out.

Quick read about and it seems the hardware inside the 615 is rather...budget...

Prone to overheating which causes wireless to crap out.

Ah, I got this think sitting ontop of my PC case and both tucked under the desk and not very well ventilated (i.e. hot air coming out of the PC).

Could explain it. Thanks Sparky__H.
