DLINK Powerline DHP-301/B

Yeah, I've got some netgear ones which I'm running, had them about a week now and it's a lot better than wireless in my experiance. Could have just been my wireless router was crap though or my reciever was crap.

Wireless was a pain to set up aswell, as for some reason even though I could see the network it wouldn't let me connect so I had to disable some security options then reset both pc and router countless times to get it to work again.

Powerline network, I just plugged into wall sockets, plugged cable into router, plugged into PC, and it was all done!
 
Theres 2 standards for powerline type networking Homeplug Av seems to be winning out at the moment not sure if these are homeplug or powerline alliance ones. So long as dont try to mix up types the performance is roughly the same.

Both types can solve all sorts of wireless issues and are very simple to set up.
