DLLML.exe High CPU Usage

For some strange reason this process is taking up about 50% cpu usage and causing games to run slower than normal, when i go to end the process everything runs great again however after about 10 mins my system locks up which is no good.

After a bit of googling i know its to do with Creative and their sound-cards, I have a X-Fi SB XtremeMusic although apparantly it can be disabled safely but when i do it crashes my comp and i cant leave it running as it makes my games run really slow, any ideas? thanks in advance.

Have you tried nuking then reinstalling the Creative drivers? That's the logical first step for me when I come across a driver-related problem in Windows.

Yeah, forgot to mention. I've always used the ones on the disc which came with the card but this is the first time its happened, guess I'll try the updated ones on Creative's site.

Its a bug with Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music Sound Card
Try uninstalling then reinstall when you get to the registration application answer never ask again" and the problem is gone.

How do you disable dllml.exe? I believe it's for Creative remote contol.
Found it in "Entertainment Centre settings"
