So last night I finished the construction of my first Windows Home Server (v1 - not Vail). All looks good.
I now want to start the process of backing up my music/movies/tv shows etc. I of course want to be able to then get at these from the other devices in my house (xbox, ps3, macbook pro, maybe even ipad?), and so I'm wondering...
What is the best media server software currently out there? I've seen mentioned Mezzmo, TwonkyMedia Server, or even just the vanilla windows stuff that came with WHS Powerpack 2.
What do you guys suggest? I don't mind using different software for music and movies and I don't mind paying, I just want the best that's out there for managing large-ish collections and keeping things neat.
