DLP's

DLP's and PC. Anyone got one and does it work well linked to your PC?

I'm intereseted in some of samsungs range.

I have a DLP projector that is absolutely superb when hooked up to my PC. I imagine you're talking about the DLP rear projection televisions though, which are apparently are incredibly good. Colour reproduction and contrast levels are superior to LCDs.

yes, the rear projection DLP is what I'm after. Anyone know any good places to pick these up, in particular samsung 50inch with 1080p.

well I don't know about the samsung dlp units but I have the Sony KDFE50A12U 50" DLP unit which uses 3 LCD panels to create the image which is fantastic and was a bargin at just under £1300. I use it with my HTPC and have even played a few games on it and it seems to do the job well. Certainly the best tv that I have owned.

Although it can't do 1080p my tv does do an outstanding job at 720p and 1080i.
