DLSS + FSR possible ?

As I understand.. DLSS processes the image pre production, FSR post production.. will we able to combine the technologies ? i.e DLSS 1080 to 1440 then FSR image to 4K ??
 
I'm almost entirely certain that combining multiple image reconstruction techniques will produce a lower quality image and probably worse performance due to efficiency losses
