DMF of Fail

well as some of you know i was doing the clutch and dmf in the vectra this week

hauled the box out last night, and surprisingly after 140k miles the clutch seems to be fine, minimal wear and if i hadn't already bought one i'd seriously consider just throwing it back in. the DMF on the other hand, absolutely knackered should be fun getting that off today i suspect liberal application with the angle grinder ;(

I did a flywheel conversion in May which involved an angle grinder. had to cut the face off the flywheel to access the bolts as it had failed off centre

What are the symptoms of DMF failure? I get a metallic buzz when I pull away from a stand still but I put that down to a heat shield or something that had worked loose.
