DNS Issues With OcUK

Hey all,

Is anyone else having DNS issues while trying to view OcUK,

I can only view it via a proxy which I am posting from now,

I have tried all the usual such as rebooting my router,

Setting my manual DNS settings to automatic and rebooting,

But still no joy,

Any ideas?

yes ive had issues for weeks now where the forums and shop page wont work at random times, i thought it was a ocuk issue ,but i can remember a while back i had the same issue and it was blueyonders fault?
 
I believe the admins are blocking certain IP ranges because I was under the impression that the OcUK servers have been under a DDoS attack recently. Thus, if you're unfortunate enough to get an IP that's been blocked... you won't be able to view OcUK without going via a proxy.

I keep getting issues connecting. What is the best way of connecting?

Put into simple terms for me... ;)
 
ie has more of the problems just use safari.........

pc im on now wont connect thru ie but im typing this using safari same as there main web site for sale cant get on thru ie but safari no probs

Would explain the symptoms I get when trying to view the shop and forums at work. Why they would want to block the NHS N3 connection (more or less every NHS funded building in the UK unless they are fortunate enough to buy a N3 connection and a dedicated connection for internet.)
 
Having problems here also, intermittent connection problems with OCUK. All other sites are working perfectly.

Could one of the dons please confirm that it's OCUK having issues and not us?

edit: could this be releated to the problems (some?) firefox users are having? At random trying to get any forum page simply displays "the document contains no data" or somesuch and requires clearing cookies etc to get the forums to work again.
