DNS Server help

Hi All I,m not sure if this is the right forum to post this , but i want some info about DNS Servers , what are the best DNS Servers to use either Google DNS or Open DNS Servers ? any help would be useful thanks

They both are great, use Open DNS if you would like to use an online website to control what people can access or assist in filtering out any nasty sites.

ok so either those 2 is great to use ?

Not in my case. Last time I ran a benchmark Google was something like 10th place and OpenDNS was 14th or something. The fastest were Virgin's own DNS servers. A couple of Level3 servers took 3rd and 4th places.

Hi there yeah i just got the benchmark software and ran it and the best primary servers were the Be unlimited ones and Open DNS and Google were way down in the middle so stick with what i have ha!
