Do 17" vostros take two HDD's?

As tittle, is there room for two hdd's in a Vostro?

Yes.

However you will need the caddy and adaptor and it's 2.5" sata only.
Part numbers are DLC-C7586 and DLC-XK231.

I've got a 200GB 7200rpm primary drive and a 250gb 5400rpm secondary drive - the power usage and heat goes up a little bit, but the 7200 drive is well worth it.
