I turned on my 360 today and had a error message come up, it was the E74 error which is to do with the AV Cable or AV encoder chip, thankfully unplugging the cable and plugging it back in has solved it.

But when I turned it back on, it loaded the profile and signed me in to live like normal but then the router light for the 360 was flashing for around 2 minutes,
none of my friends were online and there was nothing being downloaded, so do you think 360's are reporting errors back to Microsoft?

I think it would be good if they did so they could really got an idea of mistakes they have made and look to fix them on the next console.

Wouldn't put it past them, however when you sign in as i'm sure you know they market things at you be it a new wireless controller, play and charge adaptors etc. I get the impression that once in a while they send details of what you actually have with your console hardware wise, allowing them to market more productivly at you.
