Do akasa apache make for good case fans?

I'm thinking about replacing some of the fans in my 690II Adv for quieter items and i'm wondering if the Apache's are good? I dont really know much about fans except that some are better as case fans and others for heatsinks and radiators and the like.

Still not sure if i can stomach spending £10 on each fan, mind you.

They're quite expensive for case fans, but they are nice fans.
Can be quite loud when going 100% though.

Which less expensive case fans would you recomend? I'm mostly concerned about quietness.

Is the xbit labs fan roundup still a good guide? Its several months old so im wondering if there are new fans that might better than anything in the xbitlabs article?
