Do BIOS upgrades on mobo's invalidate their warranty?

Hi,

Does anyone know if performing a BIOS update on my motherboard will invalidate its warranty? I have an Asus Striker II Formula.

I am just about to return this mobo to the supplier and am explaining to them everything i have tried to do in order to get this mobo stable, which includes updating to the latest BIOS.
Would this be the 'kiss of death'!?

No, you will be fine. Are you sure its the Mobo and not the memory or another component?

It should'nt do as sometimes a bios needs to be updated to fix incomaptibilities/update cpu support or simply to fix a problem with the bios version that it shipped with.
