Hi, I just bought some AC ryan blue cold cathodes, however, they look very white to me

I've asked my dad, he thinks that they look blue, I think they look pretty white.

Do they need time to 'settle'? I've had them on for about 10 mins now, and looking at them is hurting my eyes :o

they shouldn't really need any time, usually the will be at the right colour as soon as u first turn them on

Nah they shouldn't require any settling in time, that's the colour they will be I'm afraid! Ice Blue tends to be very cold blue - more of a white.

I got a purple UV one in mine with some reactive cable cover around the psu leads, had normal blue one before but it never changed color and got darker or brighter.

Would like to some piccy's...

There ya go

The colours can be quite a bit out on a lot of cathodes these days.
Red tends toward the pink.

I have a fix for that ;)

Its called Lighting Gel.
