do europe region lock games work for us?

dont want to sound stupid asking this, just i have started buying games from cdkeys at sale prices and all have been worldwide, however i want to get infinite warfare as its £4, but says europe locked and i just wanted to double check the obvious :rolleyes:
 
Well we are in Europe, both geographically and politically (for now), so I'd say it's a good bet they'll work just fine. Can't see any reason why they'd not.

no i didnt think there would be a reason for it not to work, its been awhile since ive used steam, so who knows what they might do, it was a pretty obvious answer lol, i just didnt want to waste money for a possible technical error.
 
I did see some reviews for several games where people claimed it didn't work, although they were in UK.

Just read reviews for that particular game on their website, should give you an idea.
 
i tried that and i didnt see anything, theres a lot of mix reviews on region locks on steam, i went ahead and purchased it anyways and installed it during the night, didnt realize how big the game is :eek:, biggest game i have installed lol, had to remove BF games i dont play to make space on my drive..

anyways if it installed i guess it works?
 
I'd echo Malevolence's thoughts.

Either way, update the thread with your findings when you've tested - it's good to know for future reference. :)
 
it did work ha, while my computer cant run it well for the obvious it does seem to work just fine, not going to be optimistic and assume all europe locked games will work for the obvious, but for this game its safe to say theres no hidden crap. while im glad i didnt pay 11.99 for the legacy edition due to pc performance, that is also euro locked, its the only game ive looked at from interest that is region locked.
