Do fan dust filters work???

I have an Antec 900 with the full compliment of 120mm fans (4) taking in air and the 200mm and one 120mm extracting it and i have to clean the inside of my case for dust every 2 or 3 weeks and i saw the dust filters on OcUK and was wondering if anyone else had used them and whether they helped and how they affect the cooling ability of the fans

Ok thanks guys, i think ill turn one of my 120mm fans around then ill have more air coming out than going in
