My fish in my aquarium sleep, they sort of just hover around near the bottom of the tank and dont move much

I used to love switching the light off, waiting for 5 mins till my goldfish went to the bottom of the tank and then switched the light on bright and see how quick they would start swimming again lol.

My oscars are usually fast alseep within 10-15 minutes of putting the main room lights out.

Yep my fish sleep inside, even with the light and tv on now they're dosing off, soon as the light goes off they are off.
Never seen the Koi or goldfish asleep outside though and especially not the orfe, they always seem to be on the move.

I can do that but mine don't start moving about until I go near the tank.

Do your Orfe jump?
I had 3 to begin with, 2 of them jumped clean out of the pond. I didn't find them until i returned from work. 1 was just drowned, the other had been seen to by the neighbours cat The last one is a little less active, but he jumps when i feed them.
