Do Gamecube games look better through Wii's component ouput?

Hi, it seems I've run out of TVs to play my gamecube on so I hooked it up to my monitor's(Sammy 21") composite input and it looks rather naff. If I were to buy a Wii (which I'm planning on doing anyway) and connect the component cables up to my monitor, will it make them look better?. Do GC games actually work with Wii component? Lastly anyone got this combo or game on a monitor with component input, how is it? Thanks.

Gamecube composite looked horrendous. GC games are interlaced via component still but 576i via component looks supurb. Far better than RGB Scart on my old gamecube.

Composite looked alright on my TV(small) but it's all fuzzy and the colours are all washed out on my monitor, I really wasn't expecting that much of a loss. Can't wait to see the difference between it and component.

Probably loads on members market, apparently they are just a gimmick

Not selling mine though, not again anyway lol.

If it's anything like the difference on my HDTV it will be huge.
