Do games support 4k?

Stuff like civ 5, and upcoming bf4 etc or do they stop at 2560x1600?

My business has done quite well this year, so I'm considering one of these...

I think my current setup should handle acceptable frame rates for it, but there is no point getting it if it's not supported :confused:

Logically speaking I'm sure that 4k (3840x2160) will be totally possible, mainly because 7680x1440 is already possible with x3 2560x1400 screens, and that's more pixels.

Well, my system is more for gaming, so my query was whether the games themselves support the resolution? I know Arma 3 does as there are vids on the tube.

There's nothing to support really, the games just take cues from Windows as to what resolutions your card and monitor can support.

I'd suggest waiting it out a bit too, 4K displays are very likely to drop well below £3000 just the way the. TVs have to encourage more people to buy.
