Do I buy a PSP Today

You would probably buy one, play it for a few days and go back to the DS if other posts on here are anything to go by.

My friend got one for Xmas and he's bored stiff of his.

My PSP is basically a portable PES5 machine. The other games I have are good but I just keep going back to Pro Evo.

If you want innovative Nintendo goodness, keep on the DS. If you want a portable PS2, get a PSP.

Well I'll try to avoid the FanBoy type comments and give an opinion on my PSP.

I got it a Christmas and haven't stopped using it, I mainly use it for games (Burnout Legends, Hotshot Golf, Worms, Megaman Powered Up, plus many others) but recently I've also been using it for videos on the move.

There used to be comments saying that it had a poor selection of games with the majority of them being driving games, I'd say this argument can now be ignored as the PSP as a huge selection of games across many genres.

Network play is an ease, I've had loads of fun with this as 7 other guys in our department now have PSPs.

I'd say take a look at the games that are available for it, if there’s something you want to play and it's not available on your DS (or the PSP port is considered a better version of it) then invest in one.

Mine was worth the £200 odd quid I paid just for Everybody's Golf tbh, have also been enjoying Ridge Racer and Tales of Eternia though.

GTA with the new cheat device has given my PSP a new lease of life. Also everybody's golf is still great too (bought mine on release day).

Still have my canadian psp which i had imported last year. Cant say ive been using it lately, too hooked on the 360 that i have. Saying that though i traded some games in the other day and got lumines and mercury...mercury is a pretty hard game..some of those levels are tricky if anything.

Only get the PSP if there are games on it that you want to play, otherwise it will be an wasteful purchase, because from the sound of it, it seems to you that it's just one of those things where ''I have a DS Lite but I got £200 to spare, so might as well get the other'' :p
