Do I dare go any further?

Got my HD 7950 on Monday and it's been running at 1100/1400 (+20%). Super stable, temps are 30C normally and around 68-70C (seems a bit high?) when gaming. It's been stredding up all of my games close to maxed out (MSAA Off).

I'm not to keen on altering voltages as I've never done it before, and I don't really want to as of now.

Should I push this card any further on stock voltages?

Thanks in advance!

I'd leave it where it is, that seems like a nice overclock.

70 is not high, my 7970 hits 71 in BF3, it's about average for the 7950/7970.

1100/1400 is a nice overclock. You don't get much in return for overclocking the memory so I wouldn't bother with that too much, although most 7950s seem good for 1500 on the memory (as is mine).

I get 1125 on the core at stock volts. Generally 1100-1150 is where you should be.

I'd crank up the mem to 1500, that extra memory bandwidth would be nice if you like eye candy. Should be able to do that at stock memory voltage no hassle at all. But if your happy with gaming performance, why increase it anymore ;)

but I like this idea personally.....Bench it, clock it higher then decide you'd love to see how another 7950 will take your performance to Titan levels for a 1/3 of the price :)

Go higher if you can! 1100 isnt that high and not letting your card run at its full potential is not good!

Your temps arent high, and if you dont mind it being louder then go for it, get some more oc out of it. You could make a fanprofile for it.

All the boost cards run at 1.25v so you probably don't want to push too high on the voltage.

There is also the bios mod option for these cards that removes the boost function and lowers the voltage.

I really need to watercool my 7950 as it does 1200 core @ 1.17v :)

U have a very decent clock there for gaming.. i use 1100/1600 for gaming and only go higher when im benching. Just enjoy it how it is now and think about higher clocks when something more demanding comes up ;)
