Do I... do I not... MBP order

To the MBP owners.

I currently have a MacBook (its great n all that) but I imagine the MBPs to be more solidly built. Better materials, and hopefully better assembly. Is this true? Its just that I find my plastic MacBook has become a bit tatty in places. To be fair, it does get used a lot, but I'm considering a MBP for my next laptop because hopefully it will be more robust.

I'm just wondering if anyone could shed some light on potential MBP build quality issues.

Thank. :)

Only thing I can think of, is that the screen can become warped if you open it on the edges.. but otherwise it feels very robust :)

Thanks. The main thing that has gone on my MacBook is a hairline crack that has developed on the bottom-right edge of the casing. I think this is caused be me lifting the MacBook up by that corner - over time the repeated stress has finally made it split.

Aside from that though it is in pretty good condition, I just think when I come to replace it I might go for a MBP for that bit extra quality. :) My needs have changed and I dont need the latest and greatest hardware anymore so I'd like to buy something that lasts.

Let's just hope they haven't been kicking around / dropping it ;)

Kidding, im sure it's fine.. Leopard is SWEEEEET.
