Do I have a dodgy cpu?

I'm confused... Speedfan is telling me it's in the 20C area as well, but what the hell is the AUX reading in speedfan? That one is around 30C

This is just me trying to find what's accurate to see what I actually have to work with when it comes to overclocking it.

I've always sworn by Realtemp/coretemp. I distrust all others due to odd results they have given me over the years.

Hey setter, is there a common name for that stuff? You know how us norn arn folk like renaming things. I'm just down the road in Ballymoney by the way.
You can pick it up in a chemists mate, or as an alternative i use cd cleaner, this contains isopropyl alcohol and does a decent job of cleaning old thermal paste off.:)

Iso propyl alcohol is the common name (IPA for short )
It's used in both CD and record cleaner

It's also known as propan-2-ol ( proper IUPAC chemist's name)
