Basically i went to turn on my second system this morning and there was no display on my monitor. So i took the side panel off and noticed there were 2 flashing red lights on the back of my 4850 which i have never really noticed before :(. The red lights flash twice then nothing for 10 seconds then it happens again :( and like i said there is no display on the screen.

So have a got a fryed graphics card???

And if i have what would be the best card to get for under 50 quid??

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Found this with a quick google.

When Leds are on(lit) they mean: HD4850 LEDs D1601 - Over temp protection enabled D1602 - EXT 12V fault HD4870 LEDs D1601 - Red LED On, shows critical temperature fault D1602 - Red LED On, shows External power connector A was removed D1603 - Red LED On, shows External power connector B was removed D601 - Red LED On, shows critical Core power fault

Have you got a different gfx card or psu to rule them out?

Maybe try reapplying the TIM to rule temperature fault (unless damage has already been done

Ok thanks for the speedy reply its much appreciated. I cant see it being a heat problem as the system is on start up and i have an aftermarket heatsink on it. The power connectors are defo connected ive swapped them aswell. Still nothing but thanks for advice though mate.
