Do I have a leg to stand on?

Hi,

I have a 2005 Mk Ford Focus. About a year ago it was making a grinding shaking sound every time I pulled away quickly. Apparently the gear box had came off it's mounts. It cost me around £500 to have fixed. It has now started doing the exact same thing again.

Is there any warranty on repairs? It was done at a main Ford dealership. Will be pretty miffed if I have to shell out another £500!

If you paid for it to be fixed, there should be a warranty on the repairs.

I always thought repairs came with a warranty?

Give the dealership a ring and see what they have to say.

Did they change just the failed mount or all of them? If only the failed one it could be a different one that has gone this time.
