Hello lads,

I'm looking to knock the noise of my 4870X2 right on the head and fit a waterblock - will my loop be able to deal with it, or am I going to have to upgrade the pump/radiator/fans?

I'm running a CPU loop with a D-Tek DB-1 pump, a Swiftech MCR220-QP 120.2 radiator with two low-speed Yate Loons, a D-Tek Fuzion v1 and an XSPC single bayres.

Any thoughts appreciated :)

I would say, no. I would go for a 120.3 and stronger pump as the bare minimum, but it might be easier to just get another 120.2 and pump and put the gpu(s) in their own loop.

I'd say the pump will be fine, but you'll probably benefit from a bigger rad / another rad.

If you get another rad, make sure to run it in parallel, not series.

(Dtek db1 user here with mahoosive radiator - think 4 x 120mm fans and then some)
