OK guys and gals here it is...


Basically this has happened quite a few times recentaly. 8 times maybe in the past 3 weeks...

Say im sitting at my PC listening to music, doing what ever and my mobile is the other side of my room set to vibrate... basically ill get a text message but I dont hear my phone vibrate...

But then say 5 minutes later i can hear a vibration / sort of feel. Its like my phone does but its not quite what my phone sounds like when it vibrates, its sounds duller, its not a sharp if you know what I mean... and like I say I can sort of feel it.

So I will walk over to my phone look at it and I have a text message. But the thing is that the time shows that I got the message like 5 mins earlier. :eek:


It is very strange indeed as the last few times its happened ive thought to myself as Ive walked to my phone.. 'OK its happened again, if Ive got a text message this is just going to be very strange'.


But it has also happened when my phone is right in front of me...

Playing some CS:S the other day and my phone is 5cm away from me on the desk... and Ive got my head phones on while im playing and Ive got music playing aswell so there is no way I could hear the phone vibrate...

But I feel a vibration like in my leg where my phone would be in my pocket and sort of hear one aswell though all the sound coming from my headphones... so I look at my phone and there it is a text message that I got 3 odd mins earlier. :eek:



I am actaully a bit scared by this. :o



Do I have a special power or am I just some kind of freek?

Nope, just sounds like your subconscious is prodding you.

Sometimes I get the phone before it goes off. But thats due to sensing the incoming signal. Usually creates static on speakers etc.

I have a land-line phone that does a pre-ring chirp about 1/2 a second before it, or the rest of the house rings. :D

You could be "5 minutes late i've received a txt and vibrated in the leg man"
 
Maybe your room has unique acoustic properties where vibrations are able to carry for 5min, before returning to you.

Another possibility is that you have become entangled with your phone at the quantum level, except there is delay of 5mins (for reasons unknown).
 
Of all the superpowers to have, yours is possibly the most rubbish I can think of, even when I try really really hard to think of something rubbish.

Wide-eyed youngster: "Ohhh so what superpower do you have? Can you shoot lasers from your eyes? Do you have the strength of 10 men? Can you fly?"

You: "Nah mate, I can feel vibrations 5 minutes after they happen".

Deflated youngster: "Oh."

I sometimes get this.

I feel that i have a text or something..walk over to my phone, and it will then just start ringing or vibrating.
 
is your phone a motorola?

'cause they vibrate again after a while if you don't read your message =p
