Do I have the power?

<insert He-Man gif> :D

Hi everyone. It's time for an upgrade. I'm concerned that my current power supply, the Seasonic Prime Ultra Titanium 850W PSU, may not be enough to power the new system. I don't trust the online calculators, so I'd appreciate some advice.

Hardware:
ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
DDR5 32GB 6000 RAM
GPU (mid-range Radeon RX 9000?)
4 x M.2 SSD
2 x SATA SSD
6 Case Fans
D5 Water Pump

Many thanks.

Of the universe?!

Your PSU should be absolutely fine, even if it's not it's a high quality unit so at worst you might get a shut down under load which tbh is extremely unlikely.

I'd be confident running those specs on a quality 650-750W unit.

There can be only one.

Thanks for the info, that's one less thing to worry about!

Unless all the new AMD gpus have a big power requirement jump I think your psu would be more than enough, a higher quality lower wattage unit >> a lower quality high wattage unit in my opinion.
I'd be surprised if the next gen GPUs have a high power requirement considering AMD are targeting the mid-range but that's a good point - you never know! Thanks.

WHYYYYY????

I looked at a review of that PSU and it can deliver almost 1.2kw of power which is great. It's a great PSU with good features.

If all you want to do is spend money, send me £250 and I'll repaint your PSU and add some RGB lights :D
RGB and "go faster" stripes? That's +10fps in performance. For 250£, you have my attention! :)

When I bought it many moons ago, the Seasonic was top-end. I've used it in three builds, and this is my fourth.
