Do i have to reinstall win 8.1 with new cpu/mobo change?

had to reinstall windows in the end, it worked but was giving me no end of problems, crashing BSOD's etc

so just wiped everything and started fresh, and now its running flawlessly, just need to give it a test at stock in games then get OC'ing :D
