Do I have x64?

Hi all,

How do I check if a copy of Vista I have (downloaded from the academic MSDNAA) has both the 32bit and 64bit versions of Vista Business? The site does not mention either.

chances are you wont have both. They are completely separate images

just that the CD key that you get, enables you to choose between either Disc

i assume if they dont mention it, it will be 32 bit.

If its x64 and you only have a x32, it tells you basically straight away.

I spent ages downloading this only to find out that it was 32bit.

Our MSDN:AA was 32 bit, I emailed our coordinator asking if the 64 bit will be available. They said it was doubtful anytime soon.

Im assuming that means for the whole country.

The image: en_windows_vista_x64_dvd_X12-40712.iso was on our MSDNAA, so I guess it is available in some institutions.
