Do I need a full system upgrade?

Specs

CPU: AMD FX-6300-SIX CORE PROCESSOR
RAM: 8GB
GPU: NVIDIA geforce gtx 660
PCU: 750W Corsair
SORAGE: 3TB total storage
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0

I apologise in advance, my general knowledge of gaming PC's has decreased significantly over the past year due to me not playing much because of exams, but they are all over now. I am getting back into my gaming and I was wondering if you guys thought that I should get a brand new PC or whether you think that I could get a new GPU (I was thinking something in between the £200 - £250 price range) and add it to this PC to enhance the gaming performance.

I am not a hardcore gamer by any means but I would like to improve on my current experience, whether you guys & gals think that would be from getting a new GPU or new PC in general I don't mind, just want some advice

Hi and welcome.

I think you just need a new gfx card to start with (check lengths VS case space etc) and go from there, maybe add an SSD.

R9 390 or GTX 970 would be the way to go
