Do I need a new copy of W7 ?

I'm upgrading my motherboard on Monday.But need to no if I need to buy a new copy of W7 ? I've got the 64bit oem at the moment but have heard that it is linked to the mobo. Is this the case ?

no you can move it to the new board. you will probably need to reinstall windows though and maybe do a phone activation.
