Hi

I do a fair bit of video editing.

I usually get by with my rig editing 24fps/1080p footage from my DSLR. But when editing 2.7k 24fps from my GoPro3 the footage is very jerky and uneditable, even unplayable actually!

Any ideas?

(my rig is in my sig)

Ive no idea if thats a good gpu but jerky raw video streaming could be disk speed. copy a chunk to the sdd and play it from there. I'd be using a 240gb+ SSD if i was doing video.

What program are you using for editing? If it is Windows Live Movie Maker, the jerkiness and difficulty when editing is very common.
