I've currently got this 480W Tagen PSU. I've had a look around the forums but I can't seem to find any 100% answers. Will that be enough for a Q6600, 2900XT?
Do I need a new PSU?

Should be fine, the 2900XTs have reasonably hefty power requirements but I wouldn't imagine there will be any problems from that PSU since it is a quality brand.

28a on the +12v, I don't know if it will be. Lots of people saying 30a min. I wouldn't mind finding out myself Mr Guinea pig

.Problem is that if I go for the 2900XT and the power doesn't work then its another £100.
Basically I can't decide whether to get:
1950 Pro and save £140 straight away over the 2900XT
or
2900XT and risk another £100 on top of that.
Oh choices choices.
