The lack of HDD in every console has been the biggest limiting factor in performance for the 360 imo.

It was announced at the x07 thing that was in November, I thought it was common knowledge tbh. I will try to find a link (it was on some leaked slides that changed the arcade game limit from 50mb to 250mb and also some stuff about MMO and HDD).

Some game called "Borderlands" is going to be the first title. It is only to be allowed for MMO games and has to be clearly indicated on the box. There is absolutely no indication that it will spread to normal games (as I guess no matter what people here own there is a lot of people without HDD 360's worldwide, which is an estimated 20% of users.). I am just assuming that once this happens for MMO, they will listen to the feedback, and see if they want to take this route with normal games.

exactly what he said. for Demos and vids and certain other things like playing old xbox games. Playing halo 3 4 player co-op. There about 60 or the own i think so get one mate yes!
New plan... see what deals they have in store. If theres nothing good, I can take my arcade back for a refund... thats £200.
Now another shop has the arcade available for £169.99.

So really for the £200 you get back from the Arcade for just another £50 you're getting a £70 hard drive and say £60-70 worth of 360 games as well as the Xbox headset + component cables.
Not quite. The arcade was 200 with the forza, pinata and extra controller.

Its quite cool actually. Ive got it set up in the living room and can switch between playing it on the living room tele, my 22" monitor, or the bedroom tele without having to move the console
