Hey guys,

I recently started a thread about my CPU, which,I have decided to keep until I get the GPU sorted out.

But...something else has popped up

While playing CS GO, stuttering every other time is happening.

I read somewhere that the same sort of issue risen (fine all the time BUT games..) and was solved with new thermal paste and stopped the CPU from throttling..

But my CPU in CS never goes above 50c and when its warm in the house, mid 50's..

BUT, I am still running a stock Intel cooler! I know I know!

Would it be worth changing to a new cooler even though its only a 7500 and not OCed??

And if so, can someone point me to a decent, easy to install, reasonably priced one?

Cheers.

I had a similar issue with my Intel CPU, temps were fine (so no thermal throttling) but still experienced regular stutter.

What are your windows power settings - power saver, balanced or high performance?

And have you removed any FPS cap in-game, with fps_max 0?

I fixed my issues in CS:GO by going from balanced power mode to high performance.

Since your temps are so low it isn't a cooling issue, I think it could be something else.
