Do I need an upgrade from 7970?

All i'd consider in your situation is adding another 7970? I wouldn't upgrade it 'per-say' just add to it.

Could you're PSU handle Xfire?

I had one 7970 before for 3 monitors and was not enough.
now I have 2x 7950 and it is ALMOST enough...

My new build PSU is a Corsair 1200i so i think so
The mbb is a Asus Maximus 6 extreme.

I have that PSU and crossfire 7970s and I could add a third and still have room to spare. Nice PSU btw

What CPU you got? i have a i5 2500k @ 4.6 and experience severe bottleneck
