Do I need an upgrade?

Hey all

Running a 6950 bios upped to 6970 on a 3770k

I've been using a 32" LCD TV as a monitor, but I'm moving soon so I'll need to buy a monitor as the TV is staying.

I was looking at a 27" monitor @ 1440p. I assume I'll need a new video card to run games at that res? I could add a second card in my board for Crossfire perhaps.

Or buy a 1080p monitor just now. choices......

any suggestions?

If you are going to upgrade have a look at one of the HD 7950s

If you can hang on until next year Q2 there should be a new generation of cards launching.

+1 Wait for next gen see what they bring if not much difference then you could always go with 7000 series they will be cheaper lol
