Do I need an upgrade?

Currently have an 3930k cpu but be thinking about getting an upgrade mainly to handle my Titan x sc or not sure if I shall just keep what I have an overclock it.

Another voice to the 'no need to bother'. It depends on your motherboard if you should overclock. If you have a Gigabyte X79 UD3 then I wouldn't bother but for any other board definitely have a fan blowing directly on the VRM's on the motherboard.

Save your money, just buy a high end air cooler/AIO/custom loop and overclock.

Get an AIO cooler and clock that bad boy. Mine hit 4.5 with ease. No point in upgrading as it's a workhorse of a chip.
