do i need an xbox 360 controller?

ok, installed F1 2010 and Batman AA today, and both only seem to support keyboard or a 360 controller, i have a ps3 style controller. is there any way to get this to work, or am i destined to shell out £30 for another controller?

What is your make and Model of controller? The game will have been made for 360 first then converted for PC use etc.....hence the full support for 360 controllers they do the same games made for the PS3 then get converted to PC format so support the PS3 controllers beter...

It's a sods law world..... I'd be inclined to have both controllers but there will be a way.

Lets you use most gamepads in most games. Not sure if the existing game config would interfere with Pinnacle config though. The Pinnacle forums could help you with that.

well cheapest i saw the wireless for was £31.99 so yeh, well impressed, just wish a controller was a controller and they just gave you the option to configure the buttons in the game.

how long do the battery's last on these, i have the wired one but the lead is about 10 foot long and its getting on my nerves.

i had wireless 360 controllers when i had my i7 and they seemed to go on forever.

Sayso they last ages and im using cheap rechargables on them... Also advantage of the wireless is you can add any Xbox controller you like to them, be it the guitar hero guitars to any colour wireless controller the xbox uses..

Also you can use the new Xbox 360 controller that is coming out.

motionjoy ds3 tool, loads up the driver then emulates it to an xbox 360 pad, i use it to use my ps3 pad wirelessly as a xbox 360 pad. works great
