Do I need another license?

I was under the impression that despite having a full car license I needed to apply for a motorcycle license.

My D1 form arrived today and I can't see anything about an additional motorcycle license on there.

I've read that a full Uk driving license is a provisional motorcycle license? On the back of mine I have B, B1, F, K, P. Obtained 08/2006.

P is a moped but A is a motorcycle.

Any help is appreciated.

It'll be on your paper counterpart driving licence. Category A on there means you have motorcycle provisional entitlement.

Indeed. I also had this confusion as I thought it'd be on the photocard which it's not.

I'm confused now, as I just had a closer read of the form and you can:

'Add a provisional entitlement'.

Though having just checked my paper part, I do have category A. :rolleyes:

At least this speeds things up a bit!

i had the opposite not on the paper bit but on my photo card bit??
