do i need to change something??

I was running 8gb of ram ,Corsair vengeance 8gb ram (pc3-10700h)

and today i have put in 16gb of this stuff

but if i go into task manager and have a look, it says it is

speed.. 1333MHz, but shouldnt it be 1600MHz

so do i need to change someting in the settings?

im on windows 8 64

edited to say my mobo is a msi z77 mpower and a i53570k on stock clock

You will need to pop into the and check the memory options, there should be a option for XMP which should load the memory settings. If not you will need to manually configure the settings.
